The World Weather Is Changing

The world is changing. It is no where more apparent than in the local weather. The Hurricanes are getting stronger and tornadoes are getting bigger. It seems that no country is spared the wrath of nature. Scientists postulated that global warming has result in more water getting into and being retained in the atmosphere. So when it rains, it really pours. Flooding affect many countries across the globe from Spain to Australia, from Midwest USA to Pakistan. The increased amount of water in the atmosphere also strengthen the storms, hurricane and tornado. Hurricane Irene was devastating but more powerful storms will be the new norm. It seems that each time one check the weather on accuweather, there is a big hurricane, typhoon or tornado brewing somewhere in the world.

What Can We Do About The Weather Change?

Is it too late to reverse the effect of global weather? Only time will tell. For now, we need to do what we can. Stop the harmful practice and put in place remedial actions.

You have a voice.  Ask your local representative about what the country is doing about the Kyoto Protocol.  The Kyoto Protocol is an international agreement under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. It sets binding targets for countries around the world for the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Governments around the world need to take positive to tackle the problem collectively. It is the only way before the perfect storm strikes.
